Moving home should be an exciting and stress-free experience, and with Ogilvie Home’s Easy Move Service, we make that possible.
Our Easy Move Service is here to provide you with additional support when selling your current home. Whether you’re moving up the property ladder or downsizing to something more manageable, we’re here to help you sell your existing property and move smoothly into your new Ogilvie home. As part of the service, we will cover the estate agent’s advertising costs and arrange and pay for your Home Report.
The first step is to have your current property valued by our partner estate agents. Once we have agreed together on a marketing strategy, an acceptable price, and a starting figure for marketing (subject to the Home Report valuation), you can then move on to reserving the Ogilvie Home of your choice.
We will then arrange and fund the Home Report for your property and begin marketing it immediately with your selected partner agent. All we ask is that you provide reasonable access for potential purchasers and ensure your home is well presented to maximise its appeal.
If a suitable buyer has not been found within 12 weeks of reservation, either party may choose to terminate the purchase of the new Ogilvie home.
However, if an offer at or above the agreed asking price is received, you can proceed with the purchase of your new Ogilvie Home with the comfort of knowing that your existing property is successfully sold.
